Partizan Belgrade, who at the same time announced the sacking of Grant’s predecessor Aleksandar Stanojevic, did not reveal any details of the transfer.
According to local media reports, Grant has agreed a 900,000 euros (1.1 million dollars) monthly salary.
The 56-year-old has also negotiated an option for a 400,000-euro bonus if he succeeds in qualifying Partizan for the Champions League.
Grant has also coached Israeli national team as well as English sides Portsmouth and West Ham.
